If you plan to arrive early in the day, parking should be readily available
along Airport Road adjacent to the Terminal Building. Friendly volunteers
will be in place to show you to the nearest parking space. Handicapped
parking is available in the Terminal parking lot. Have your handicapped
parking placard visible. |
|
 |
| If
you arrive later, or if you just want to avoid the congestion, you can take
the Shuttle Bus provided by Township Transit and the City of Chilliwack.
Park in Lots 5, 6 or 7 at the UCFV Campus (corner of Airport and Yale Roads)
and catch the convenient shuttle bus. It runs every 15 minutes between 10
am and 6 pm on Sunday, July 30th. |

Fly-ins
are welcome! If you are planning on flying into Chilliwack, please check
NOTAMs for closures on both Saturday and Sunday. Please remember that the
Airport will be closed at dusk for our night show on Saturday, July
21st, and on Sunday, July 22nd between 10:00 and 17:00 hours. Our aircraft parking
area is within the sterile box required for the Sunday airshow so you will
not be permitted to remain at your aircraft, nor will you be permitted to
return to it until the airshow is completed and the Airshow Boss has reopened
the Airport.
Static display space is limited and will be allocated by the Airshow Boss.
Those wishing to display aircraft airside must apply for same. Provide your
name, contact info, aircraft type and identification to Ray Firkus at info@chilliwackairshow.com
Please note: (1)
successful applicants will receive confirmation; and
(2) due to the Airport closure from 10:00
hours to 17:00 hours, no late arrivals or early departures can be permitted.
Thank you
for your cooperation and enjoy Flight Fest! |
